1. Mississippi
Toughest SEC Games: at Alabama, at Arkansas, at Georgia, at LSU
Toughest Non-Conf Games: Texas
Ole Miss is coming off a 2-10 season and is hoping to rebound. The schedule is brutal but if the Rebels can play tough it will show something promising to the future seasons in the Freeze era.
2. Florida
Toughest SEC Games: at Texas A&M, at Tennessee, LSU, *Georgia, S Carolina
Toughest Non-Conf Games: at Florida State
Florida actually had the toughest schedule in the conference last season and this year they only drop to number two. The Gators will have no easy task this season. Getting to a winning season will be very tough especially with a new starting quarterback.
3. Texas A&M
Toughest SEC Games: Florida, LSU, at Auburn, at Alabama Arkansas
Toughest Non-Conf Games: at SMU
It's hard to feel very welcomed when you're walking into the toughest division in college football. Texas A&M is going to have a tough first season in the SEC.
4. Arkansas
Toughest SEC Games: Alabama, at Texas A&M, at Auburn, at S Carolina, LSU
Toughest Non-Conf Games: Rutgers, Tulsa
This could be Arkansas's year to take the West title, but they are going to have to get by some heavy games on the road, but they are very capable of doing so if their defense fills some major holes.
5. Kentucky
Toughest SEC Games: at Florida, S Carolina, at Arkansas, Georgia, at Missouri
Toughest Non-Conf Games: at Louisville
Kentucky faces tough road games at Florida and at newcomer Missouri. Phillips knows what he's doing in Lexington but the SEC is not a place to rebuild a football team, too tough.
6. Auburn
Toughest SEC Games: LSU, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Georgia, at Alabama
Toughest Non-Conf Games: *Clemson
Auburn faced their tough schedule last season and get a little breather this season playing LSU, Arkansas, Texas A&M, and Georgia at home. This was the same schedule when the Tigers won it all in 2010.
7. South Carolina
Toughest SEC Games: Georgia, at LSU, at Florida, Arkansas
Toughest Non-Conf Games: at Clemson
South Carolina put together a remarkable record last season finishing 11-2. It will be hard to exceed that nonetheless match it. The Gamecocks seem to have figured out the QB situation which is vital playing this harsh schedule.
8. Alabama
Toughest SEC Games: at Arkansas, at Missouri, at LSU, Auburn
Toughest Non-Conf Games: *Michigan
Alabama has a manageable schedule but still is very difficult. The Tide has to travel to LSU, Arkansas, and Missouri. Recovering from a championship with the loss of key players is not an easy thing to do but it seemed to work out the last time the Tide won it all a couple of years ago.
9. LSU
Toughest SEC Games: at Auburn, at Florida, at Texas A&M, at Arkansas
Toughest Non-Conf Games: None
LSU, once again, will be a popular pick this preseason to be in the national championship. The viewers see the talent the Tigers return but not the tough schedule they have to face.
10. Missouri
Toughest SEC Games: Georgia, at S Carolina, at Florida, at Texas A&M
Toughest Non-Conf Games: Arizona State, at UCF
Missouri caught a break with a decently fair schedule in their first year as a member of the SEC. Missouri will have to face three tough competitors on the road but could get by two if not all three.
11. Tennessee
Toughest SEC Games: at Georgia, at Miss State, Alabama, at S Carolina
Toughest Non-Conf Games: *NC State
Tennessee is in need of a generous and they seem to have one this fall. Tennessee is on the verge of becoming competitive in the East but now is struggling being the state supreme with Vanderbilt making noise.
12. Vanderbilt
Toughest SEC Games: S Carolina, at Georgia, at Missouri, Florida, Auburn
Toughest Non-Conf Games: at Northwestern, at Wake Forest
A great first year for HC Franklin but now more pressure is added. Vanderbilt will play host to many top notch programs and with a shaky home field advantage along with opposing fans outnumbering the alumni attendance it almost acts as a neutral site for the home games.
13. Mississippi State
Toughest SEC Games: Auburn, at Alabama, Texas A&M, at LSU, Arkansas
Toughest Non-Conf Games: None
Mississippi State has an okay schedule but playing in the SEC West is not a fun thing to do especially having to play at Alabama and LSU.
14. Georgia
Toughest SEC Games: at Missouri, at S Carolina, at Auburn
Toughest Non-Conf Games: Georgia Tech
Once again Georgia possesses the easiest schedule in the conference. And once again Georgia dodges Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas. (finished 1,2,3 in West standing in 2011) This season could be (probably will be) another East title for the Bulldogs.
Toughest SEC Games: at Alabama, at Arkansas, at Georgia, at LSU
