Top Postseason Performers That Helped Their Draft Stock
The bowl season has many different interpretations of what really matters. Many teams already consider it a jamboree for the next season and use it as motivation entering 2015 for recruiting and fan purposes. But for me it's getting the last live look of some of the nation's top talents in their final game as a college football player. Even though no one game, especially the last one, will determine the fate of a prospect's draft position, but just remember it can be, and will be for some, their lasting impression on the scouts and media heading into the spring draft. Here's a list of some of the draft eligible players that caught my eye this bowl season: Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin Outback Bowl: No one has doubted Melvin Gordon throughout his career, nor this season. The already declared junior running back was pencilled in as the top back in the 2015 draft and after his performance in the Outback Bowl win over Auburn that ranking may now be written in ink. Gordon showcased his Heisman caliber abilities on Jan. 1 with a spectacular game rushing for 251 yards and three touchdowns… (Read More) 2015

It's hard breaking down offseason moves for the Raiders due to their peculiar strategies that no one can seem to put their finger on. Geno Smith Out Already?
It's only been a couple of years for Jets' quarterback Geno Smith to get his feet wet, but the perception of the league and fans is that it's time to pull him. Personally, I don't see any quarterback being brought up in this Rex Ryan system to be successful. Ryan (Jets' office) haven't gathered up enough playmakers on offense to be competitive in an heavily offensive league. I will stand by Geno in being a good quarterback, even though he is a second slow in many reads, but until he has a coach and an organization that can put playmakers around him, I don't see him being a successful NFL quarterback especially in the New York franchise (See David Carr in Houston…) So, when is it time for the Jets to look for a new quarterback? Many think it's the 2015 NFL Draft. (Photo Credit: USATSI)
